My favorite Yoga Mat

If you practice yoga, you know that the most important tool is that fitness mat. For some the thin mats work, but not for me. I need my mat to have some thickness to it. 15mm to be correct! I like the cushion because it helps me to be more comfortable especially in longer sessions. We also use our yoga mats for floor activities for a littles especially when we're on the go. My favorite yoga mat is the Omari Hardwick Fitness mat! If you can find it, buy 2 because we sure wish we had.
If you are starting your fitness journey, having the right tools are important. A fitness mat, water-bottle, playlist, fitness tracker, and headphones are common necessities for the modern athletic routine.
Of the previously listed items, I don't use most of them. I don't have a playlist anymore. I never took the time to put one together for the version of the person I am now. I just go to the gym and whatever they're playing I tune out unless I can't. When I'm working out, I spend more time thinking and trying to remember to breathe than not.
I stopped using my Apple Watch. I liked that it tracked my metrics (steps, sleep, workouts, calories, etc.). After wearing a watch, for 20 years, I decided to return to traditional watches. I wanted to take a break from all of the invisible electronic waves being directly attached to my body. This includes holding my phone to my ear and my wireless headphones as well. I've experienced less headaches, though it can be inconvenient.
I drink a lot of water and often, I don't have my waterbottle refilled so I unfortunately drink from disposbable water bottles.
What are your fitness necessities?
