2014 - 2020
Associate's of Arts in Spanish Bachelor's of Spanish and Deaf Studies with focus on ASL Interpreting
I studied the various nuances of Spanish, French, and ASL during my time at SGSC and Valdosta State University. I used these languages in various workplaces and began my teaching career with young kids in between my double major's coursework. In my studies, I found myself in an immersive week at the Georgia School For the Deaf in Cave Springs while helping a professor to perform analysis on the signing abilities of the Deaf students' signing skills.
2018
La Universidad de Cádiz in Andalucia, España
In my study abroad program I lived in Spain for 6 weeks, testing myself daily on the feat of being actively immersed and taking on an internship at the office for disabilities for the Universidad de Cádiz at the Puerto Real Campus.
