So Our Homeschool Group Spent a Whole Month in Costa Rica 🇨🇷

¡Pura Vida! Costa Rica is the first place where my daughter and I lived—not just vacationed—outside of the U.S. If you’ve followed our journey before I deactivated my Facebook and Instagram, you know that I am pregnant.

As a Black mom navigating pregnancy in the South, I’ve been reflecting deeply on what kind of environment I want to raise my children in. After spending a month abroad with my daughter, I’m convinced that a life full of adventure, meeting new people, exploring nature, and sharing good food with loved ones is the life for me.

We documented our 30-day journey on YouTube (@NSReviewsLLC), where you can watch a three-year-old:

✨ Process big emotions like homesickness

✨ Grow in independence

✨ Overcome social anxiety to make new friends

Though we’re back in the States for now, we’re already planning our next worldschooling field trip. Where should we go next? Would your family love to explore with like-minded homeschoolers? Let’s connect and make it happen!
